BRIDAL ACCESSORIES

The necklace was cobbled together from an inexpensive ($5) center pendant and beads/crystals that I already had on hand. The earrings were just a fortuitous match. I think altogether the jewelry was less than $15.

The collection of my hair accessories, bought in various places, along with the silver tussy-mussy bouquet holder I decorated. The shoes I bought and had to modify, adding ribbons.

GROOM AND MALE ATTENDANT TUXEDOS

The Groom will wear a black cutaway (old-fashioned coat) and vest with a silver ascot and grey pants. The Best Man and/or Ushers will wear the charcoal grey cutaway and light grey vest pictured on the right, with black and silver striped ascot and grey pinstriped pants. The Fathers of the Bride and Groom have yet to be decided when it comes to formalwear.

MATRON OF HONOR

Kristania will be wearing a shimmery metallic blood-red sheath style dress with black velvety embroidery and beading around the neckline and trailing down the back near the zipper. Her jewelry is black rhinestones in a Victorian-esqe pattern, and her hair will be somehow pulled back and up with curled tendrils.

FLOWER GIRL

I found this red and black holiday dress at Macy's for 50% off, which made it much more affordable than most "flower girl" dresses. The top is black velvet and there's a band of silver embroidery that goes around the waist with silvery-black beading. The waist ties in the back with a bow. The skirt is made of red taffeta with an overlay of sparkly red organza.

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE

Most likely, my mom will be wearing a white dress/suit with pearls and beading on the jacket.
Guest Attire
We'd like to see all of our guests feel comfortable, but still participate in what we hope will be a romantic, dressy atmosphere. So wear what you would feel appropriate for an semi-formal evening wedding in the wintertime.
SOME SUGGESTIONS
Picture seasonal or holiday clothing, rich fabrics, velvets and satins, or evening wear. For men, you might consider military uniforms, suits or sportcoats and ties, or slacks and a nice sweater or shirt. Dresses, pantsuits or coordinating separates for the ladies. Fancy accessories like gloves and shawls will be a huge plus! Be aware that the wedding will be in February, quite often the height of the rainy season. Cozy sweaters and warm woolly jackets would be nice to have on hand. Feel free to wear colors the match or coordinate with the wedding party- silver, grey, burgundy, pinks, reds, etc.
These are just suggestions. A smile on your face and joy in your heart will be the most important things you can wear on our big day!
