About Us

ABOUT NIEVITA
Nievita currently works as the Special Occasions/Bridal Department Manager at the Mill End Fabric Store in Beaverton, Oregon. She has a cat, Cassandra and two white doves named Orpheus and Persephone. John is afraid of what their kid's names are going to turn out to be.

ABOUT JOHN
After moving back to Portland, Oregon, John is still working for RadioShack in a managerial capacity.

The Wedding Party

NIEVITA'S ATTENDANTS

Kristania McClure - Matron of Honor -- Kristania has been the bride's good friend for many years. If it wasn't for her, Nievita may never have had the courage to meet John for the first time.

Katie Cook - Hostess -- John's older "little" sister who is actually a very lovely young lady. I feel honored that she has agreed to be a part of our wedding festivities.

Julie Cook - Flower Girl -- John's little sister. At the time of the wedding, she was nine years old and played T-ball, soccer, and basketball and is still a natural redhead.

JOHN'S ATTENDANTS

Dan Cook - Best Man -- John asked his dad to do the honor of being his Best Man, and we're so glad that he accepted. Dan has worked in various Broadcast Media throughout the years, which is probably where John caught the bug from.

Daniel Craig Hartness II - Usher -- Dan is the bride's younger brother, though not "little" anymore. He surfs, rides Harley motorcycles, and works as a contractor for a Pest Control Company out of San Luis Obispo. Daniel is also due to get married himself in June of 2006 to a lovely young lady, Christa.

Charles Gregory Hartness - Usher -- Nievita's other "little" brother, who's far too tall. He cut off his mohawk the day of the wedding, which is a story unto itself. He works as an inspector for the same company that Danny works with.

OFFICIANT

Reverand Duda - Officiant -- Rev. Duda was really the most important person there that day (we won't tell anyone else though!) because without him the whole thing couldn't have happened. Thank you so much!
